The tenure of the National Consensus Commission has been extended again by one month.
A gazette notification on Monday night, signed by Cabinet Secretary Sheikh Abdur Rashid, said 鈥榯he consensus commission will now continue its work until October 15鈥�.
The seven-member commission formally began work on February 15.聽
As the commission鈥檚 objective to formulate the July National Charter on the basis of broader political consensus remained incomplete, the interim government first extended its tenure to September 15.
