In the ongoing countrywide crackdown against the criminals to maintain law and order, the police have arrested 1,598 more crime suspects in the past 24 hours.
According to Police Headquarters, 1,104 of them apprehended in previous cases and pending warrants while 494 others were captured on various criminal charges.
Four one shooter guns, one LG, two rounds or cartridges and three rounds of bullets were seized during the operation.
