In the ongoing countrywide crackdown against the criminals to maintain law and order, the police have arrested 1,809 more crime suspects in the past 24 hours on Saturday.
According to Police Headquarters, 1,281 of them apprehended in previous cases and pending warrants while 528 others were captured on various criminal charges.
One country-made single barrel gun, one shooter gun, one local pistol, four rounds of bullet, four Burmese knives and one rubber cartridge were seized during the operation.
