Universal Medical College Hospital held the premiere of the musical film ‘Phire Eso’ by Feedback band member Lumin at a hotel in Dhaka on Thursday.
Produced by Studio Aram Kedara, the streaming partner of the musical film is Chorki, said a press release.
The main organiser of the premiere event, Dr Ashish Kumar Chakraborty, managing director of Universal Medical College Hospital, said that the event was organised to add a new dimension to Bangla music practice and inspire the young generation to enjoy healthy domestic entertainment.
‘Although I am an expatriate in Canada, I have organised this musical film for the country,’ said Lumin, thanking his friend Dr Ashish for the arrangement of the premiere.
Prothom Alo chief digital officer and Chorki senior official Jabed Sultan Pias said, ‘Chorki works with quality content. The work Lumin has gained importance for us for this reason too. I hope everyone will like this exceptional musical film.’
He mentioned that the content would be released on a large scale on Chorki.
The hospital’s general manager and officials of the brand and communication department, head of corporate Neeta Chakraborty and the director of the musical film Rajibul Hossain were present at the event.
Musicians Foad Nasser Babu, Manam Ahmed, Bappa Mazumder, Hamin Ahmed, Anima Roy, Mizan and joint secretary Hayat Ud-Daula Khan expressed their feelings at the event, which was hosted by presenter Nahida Afroz Sumi.       Â
