Speakers at an exchange of views in Dhaka on Saturday said that after the victory of students and people uprising, a chance was created for the formation of a discrimination-free democratic society in the country.

Dhaka City Unit south of Mukta Rajnaitik Andolan organised the programme at the National Press Club.


President of the organisation Swarup Hasan Shahin said that the government must take proper steps for implementing democratic society so that fascist rule could not develop future.

He said that the late political thinker Serajul Alam Khan had formulated 14-point charters for the formation of a democratic society, establishing rights of the common people.

He urged the interim government to follow the 14-point charters to establish the rights of the common people.

Central leaders of the organisation M Rashid Ahmed, Jebunessa Jebu, Milton Hossain, Mohammad Hamidul Haque and Shawkat Ali Mintu, among others, took part in the views exchange programme.
