Police on Sunday afternoon recovered the bodies of a mother and her daughter from a house in Cumilla.
Their bodies were recovered from Rampur area of ward no 21 of the city.
The deceased are Lutfa Begum,70, wife of Abu Taher of Ramnagar area, and her daughter, Shilpi Akhter, 40.
Shahin, son of the deceased Lutfa Begum, and his wife Lucky Akhter were detained for questioning in this connection.
Police and locals said Lutfa and Shilpi had been in a family feud with Lucky. They also had a fight on Saturday afternoon, they said.
After receiving news, police reached the spot and recovered the bodies of the deceased.
EPZ police outpost inspector Saiful Islam said that no signs of injury were found on the bodies of the deceased in the inquest report. 鈥楬owever, the cause of their death is being investigated. We have recovered the bodies of the deceased and sent them to the Cumilla Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.鈥�
