Ganosamhati Andolan will observe party鈥檚 23 founding anniversary today by placing a wreath at the National Memorial at Savar on the outskirts of Dhaka in honour of the martyrs in the Liberation War in 1971.
The political party is working for a democratic transition of the country through a national election scheduled for February 2026 after the fall of authoritarian Awami League regime on August 5, 2024, in a mass uprising.
Ganosamhati Andolan chief coordinator Zonayed Saki, executive coordinator Abul Hassan Rubel, central leaders Dewan Abdul Rashid Nilu, Taslima Akhter and Monir Uddin Pappu, among others, will attend the programme.
