
Southeast Bank PLC, in partnership with the Bangladesh Bank, has launched a month-long entrepreneurship development programme for SME entrepreneurs under Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, a project of the finance ministry, said a press release.
Southeast Bank managing director (current charge) Abidur Rahman Chowdhury presided over the programme鈥檚 inauguration on Sunday at the bank鈥檚 training institute.
Programme director and BB SME and Special Programs Department additional director Bank Md Nazrul Islam was present as chief guest.
Deputy programme director and BB SMSESPD joint director Mohammad Wasim was present as a special guest.
Other senior officials of Southeast Bank were also present at the ceremony.
The first batch of 25 SME entrepreneurs will receive hands-on training on various subjects including business management, financial planning, digital marketing, loan proposal preparation, etc. at Southeast Bank鈥檚 training institute at Motijheel in the capital.
Executives from renowned business organisations and renowned trainers will be associated with Southeast Bank to implement this month-long training programme.
