Dhaka Bank PLC, in collaboration with Mastercard, has recently launched an exclusive co-branded credit card for members of the Institute of Architects Bangladesh, said a press release.
Dhaka Bank managing director (current charge) AKM Shahnawaj, Mastercard country manager Syed Mohammad Kamal, IAB president Abu Sayeed M Ahmed and general secretary Masud Ur Rashid attended the launch ceremony.
Among others, Dhaka Bank deputy managing directors Md Mostaque Ahmed, Akhlaqur Rahman, SEVP and retail business head HM Mostafizur Rahaman, Mastercard director Zakia Sultana, merchant and commerce lead Jubaer Hossain and IAB publication and publicity secretary Md Shafiul Azam Shamim were present.

The new card comes with an annual fee waiver for the first three years, along with a renewal fee waiver upon making 18 transactions annually.
Cardholders will receive exclusive privilege services from Dhaka Bank Card Experience Centre and can also opt for up to three free supplementary cards.
Combining the convenience of a dual currency and contactless facilities, the card ensures seamless transactions worldwide, both online and at Mastercard POS and ATMs.
Some travel privileges accompanying the new card include unlimited complimentary lounge access at the HSIA Balaka Lounge in Dhaka and eight free lounge visits annually at over 1,600 international airports worldwide.
It also offers exciting lifestyle benefits, such as round-the-year 鈥楤uy 1 Get up to 1鈥� deals at selective hotels and restaurants, as well as attractive discounts at more than 9,000 Mastercard merchant outlets across Bangladesh.
In addition, cardholders can gain access to exclusive global offers by logging on to the Mastercard Priceless Specials platform.
To further enhance convenience, the card comes with e-commerce transaction capabilities, airport meet and greet and pick and drop services and 24/7 dedicated call centre support, ensuring a smooth and premium experience for IAB members both at home and abroad.
