
Pakistan federal minister for commerce Jam Kamal Khan arrived in Dhaka on Wednesday night on a four-day official visit beginning on Thursday.
Upon his arrival in Dhaka at about 11:30, he was received by Bangladesh commerce adviser Bashir Uddin and Imran Haider, high commissioner of Pakistan to Bangladesh at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, officials confirmed.
鈥楾he visit is aimed at strengthening bilateral trade ties and enhancing economic cooperation between Pakistan and Bangladesh, said a press release of the Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka.
During his stay, the commerce minister will hold high-level meetings with his Bangladeshi counterpart, senior government officials, and leading business representatives to explore new avenues of collaboration in trade and investment, according to the release.
