Walton Plaza has recently provided financial assistance worth more than Tk 2 crore to 800 families amid death of hire-purchase customers and any family member.
In addition, Walton Plaza also waived remaining instalments of the concerned families.
The financial assistance was given under 鈥楬ire Purchase and Family Protection Policy鈥� of Walton Plaza.
Under the policy, protection cards are being issued to those customers who purchase products at instalment from any Walton Plaza across the country.
Walton Plaza is providing financial assistance, ranging from Tk 50,000 to Tk 3,00,000 based on the products鈥� price, to the respective nominee on the death of the buyer during the instalment period.
In addition, financial assistance from Tk 25,000 to Tk 1,50,000 is being given on the death of a family member of the respective buyers. In this case, the unpaid instalments are being adjusted from the payable financial assistance and the rest of the amount is given to the buyer or his or her family.
