The American International University-Bangladesh and the Bangladesh Fencing Federation formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the AIUB Campus on Thursday.
Through this partnership, AIUB will be the official Education Partner of the Bangladesh Fencing Federation for the next three years, underscoring a shared commitment to fostering the development of sports and education in Bangladesh.
The MOU was signed by Nadia Anwar, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, AIUB, on behalf of AIUB, and Major Qamrul Islam (Retd), President of BFF, on behalf of BFF.
The signing ceremony was attended by Prof Md Abdur Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor, AIUB; Prof Manzur H Khan, Proctor, AIUB; Professor Anwar Hossain, Advisor and Dean-In-Charge, FBA, AIUB;聽 Kazi Saiful Haque, Treasurer of BFF; Md Abu Jahid Chowdhury, National Coach of BFF, and Md Joynal Abedin, Coordinator, Office of Sports, AIUB.
This collaboration is expected to open new opportunities for student engagement, skill development, and the advancement of fencing in Bangladesh.
