The 37th annual general meeting (AGM) of Federal Insurance PLC was held in a hybrid format at muktijuddho Srmity Milonyaton (1st floor), IDEB Bhaban, at Kakrail on VIP Road in Dhaka on Thursday.
Enamul Hoq, chairman of the company presided over the meeting. In the meeting, the audited financial statements for the year 2024, the Directors鈥� Report, and a 10 per cent cash dividend for shareholders were approved.
Vice-chairman Elias Siddiquee; chairman of the executive and investment committee Jainul Abedin Jamal; chairman of the audit committee Md Mahafuzur Rahman; chairman of the nomination and remuneration committee Md Rafiqul Islam; chairman of the risk management committee Md Giash Uddin; directors Morshedul Shafi, Tahreer Nawaz, Towfiqul Islam Chowdhury, Towhidul Alam, Mamtaz Begum, Hasina Banu, Abrarul Haque, and Jia Uddin; independent director Abeda Akhter, alternate directors Syed Amzad Hossain, and Rasheda Begum; company鈥檚 managing director and CEO AMM Mohiuddin Chowdhury, CFO Masud Hossain, alongwith other senior officials of the company were present in the meeting.
In the meeting, Abrarul Haque and Hasina Banu were re-elected as directors from among the public shareholders. The meeting was conducted by Sheikh Mohammad Anwar Uddin, assistant managing director and company secretary.
