The Bridges division and Bangladesh Bridge Authority jointly held a discussion and a prayer session to mark the July uprising anniversary at the Setu Bhaban Mosque in Dhaka on Tuesday.
Mohammad Abdur Rouf, bridges division secretary and executive director of Bangladesh Bridge Authority, was present as chief guest at the discussion, said a press release on Wednesday.聽
Mohammad Abdur Rouf expressed his determination to build a Bangladesh free from all forms of discrimination and called on everyone to stand by the July victims.
In addition, he instructed everyone to be inspired by patriotism and fulfill their respective responsibilities properly.
A special prayer meeting was organised at the Setu Bhaban Mosque and all the mosques under the authority, seeking forgiveness for the martyred and speedy recovery of the injured.
