Prime Bank PLC and bKash Limited on Monday signed an agreement to launch a strategic partnership, aiming to enhance bKash鈥檚 daily transactional operations through an end-to-end specialised digital cash management services, said a press release.
Prime Bank additional managing director Faisal Rahman and bKash chief financial officer Moinuddin Mohammed Rahgir signed the agreement at the bank鈥檚 head office in the capital.
Under this partnership, distributors and agents of bKash will be able to transfer funds between their bKash channel account and special bank account for creation and also redemption of bKash e-money through an API based validation process on 24/7 basis, regardless of weekends and holidays, throughout the year.
The comprehensive cash management solution comes along with an automated reconciliation and customized reporting services.聽
Additionally, bKash will utilise PrimePay to initiate all types of domestic disbursements through a host-to-host connectivity.
Among others, Prime Bank SEVP and area head-Dhaka, corporate and institutional banking Sajid Rahman, SVP 鈥� cash management Md Rashedul Husain, bKash chief commercial officer Ali Ahmmed and EVP and HoD 鈥� treasury, finance and accounts Ahamed Ashraf Sharif were present.
