The police recovered the body of former Bangladesh army chief M Harun-Ar-Rashid from the guest house in Chittagong Club in Chattogram city on Monday.
Harun-Ar-Rashid went to Chattogram on Sunday to appear before a court in a case and stayed at the guest house, said the police quoting his family.
Getting no response from the room of the guest house for a long time on Monday morning, the club authorities informed the matter to the police, said assistant commissioner of Chattagram Metropolitan Police (Kotwali zone) Mohammad Mahfuz.
