Bangladesh interim government has rented eight pairs of special trains to bring students and mass people from all over the country to the historic July Proclamation announcement ceremony scheduled to be held in Dhaka on Tuesday.

After getting a letter from the liberation war affairs ministry on Sunday in this regard, the railways ministry gave approval for the trains on the same day.


These trains on eight routes will bring students and people to Dhaka by August 5 noon and after the ceremony they will be return to their destinations by the trains.

For these trains, the rent has been fixed at Tk 30.45 lakh.

The July Proclamation announcement ceremony will be held at the Manik Mia Avenue in Dhaka at 5:00pm.

The operations of the special trains are scheduled to start tonight and will end Wednesday morning on the Chattogram-Dhaka鈥揅hattogram, Joydebpur-Dhaka-Joydebpur, Narayanganj-Dhaka-Narayanganj, Narsingdi-Dhaka-Narsingdi, Sylhet-Dhaka-Sylhet, Rajshahi-Dhaka鈥揜ajshahi, Rangpur-Dhaka鈥揜angpur and Bhanga-Dhaka-Bhanga routes.

Earlier, Chattogram Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal rented a special train to take part in a student rally at the Central Shaheed Minar in Dhaka on August 3 and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami rented four special trains to transport leaders and supporters to Dhaka for July 18鈥檚 rally at Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka.
