NCC Bank has commenced rollout of ATM booths across all 16 stations of Mass Rapid Transit Line-6, beginning with inauguration of an ATM booth at Shahbagh metro rail station, said a press release.
NCC Bank managing director M Shamsul Arefin and Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited MD Faruque Ahmed inaugurated the booth on July 24.
Among others, NCC Bank transaction banking and cash management head Shahin Akter Nuha, cards head Mohammad Aminul Islam, DMTCL project director (additional secretary) Md Zakaria, director (administration) AKM Khairul Alam, joint secretary and company secretary Khondker Ehteshamul Kabir, general manager (operations) Mohammad Iftikhar Hossain, general manager (signalling and telecom) Md Nazrul Islam and joint secretary and general manager (stores and procurement) Shabbir Ahmed were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, M Shamsul Arefin stated, 鈥楾his initiative will further support local businesses and commuters by making banking services more accessible and secure.鈥�
He reaffirmed NCC Bank鈥檚 commitment to providing comprehensive banking support to DMTCL and all stakeholders involved in the metro rail network.
