
Bangladesh's interim government on Monday sent four deputy inspectors general of police on retirement from their jobs under the Public Service Act 2018.
The four senior police officials are Atika Islam, AKM Nahidul Islam, Md Mahbub Alam and Md Monir Hossain.
Of them, Atika Islam was attached to the Dhaka Range DIG office, Nahidul Islam was attached to the DIG, Police Telecom in Dhaka, Md Mahbub Alam was attached to the DIG, Railway Police, and Monir Hossain was attached to the Industrial Police in Dhaka.
The Public Security Division under the Ministry of Home Affairs, in four separate gazette notifications on Monday, said that they were sent on retirement in public interest.
The notifications were signed by the division鈥檚 senior secretary Nasimul Gani.聽聽
The notifications said that they would get all retirement benefits, and the order would come into effect immediately for the sake of public interests.
