Trust Bank PLC and UnionPay International have recently signed an agreement in Shanghai, China, said a press release.
Trust Bank senior vice president and card division head Md Mostafa Musharrof and UnionPay general manager for Southeast Asia Cai Huiming signed the agreement.
Under the agreement, both parties will collaborate on the issuance and acceptance of UnionPay debit and credit cards in Bangladesh.

This strategic partnership is expected to significantly benefit local customers, especially business professionals, medical travellers and tourists traveling to and from China, by offering them convenient and secure payment solutions, the release said.
