PRAN-RFL Group selected 40 students from different universities across the country as NextGen Campus Ambassadors at a ceremony at the auditorium of the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Dhaka on Saturday.

Kamruzzaman Kamal, marketing director of PRAN-RFL Group, handed over the contracts to the campus ambassadors, said a press release.


Addressing the programme, Kamruzzaman Kamal said, ‘The NextGen Campus Ambassador programme is a great learning opportunity for students. The students, selected through this programme, will work as representatives of PRAN-RFL Group in their respective campuses.’

He also said that they would also actively participate in our various marketing, events and social awareness activities.

‘Such activities will play a major role in shaping future leadership,’ he said, adding, ‘This program will not only promote the group, but also help the youth learn, grow, and gain an understanding of corporate reality.’

Through this initiative, we want to create opportunities for young people to gain leadership, communication skills, and initial experience of the corporate world, he said.

This year, online registration was organised for the first-ever NextGen Campus Ambassador programme. About 800 students from more than 40 public and private universities applied for this. After that, a total number of 40 students from 22 universities were selected as campus ambassadors in three phases.

The ambassadors will lead career seminars, workshops and promotional events as representatives of PRAN-RFL Group on their respective campuses for the next one year.

Ali Hassan, senior general manager for marketing of PRAN-RFL Group; Ranjan Kumar Dey, head of human resources of PRAN Group; Raiyan Hossain, head of human resources of RFL Group; Sumaiya Tabasmum Ahmed, head of sustainability; and Shaikh Hamim Ali, assistant brand Manager of corporate brand, were present at the programme.
