
Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman returned to top 10 after four years in the latest ICC Men's T20I bowler’s rankings, published on Wednesday.
Mustafiz has climbed 17 spots and is now tied in 9th place with India's Arshdeep Singh — both holding 653 rating points.
He was rewarded for his excellent performance in the ongoing three-match T20 series against Pakistan.
Throughout the series, Mustafiz has been highly economical, claiming three wickets at an average of only seven runs. In the first match, he recorded figures of 2-6, while in the second match, he took 1-15.
Mahedi Hasan was also rewarded for his strong showing against Pakistan, moving up nine positions to reach 16th.
He contributed with three wickets in the ongoing series against Pakistan, including a 2-25 in a close win in the second match.
Several other Bangladeshi bowlers have also improved their positions. Taskin Ahmed moved up one place to 27th. Tanzim Hasan Sakib jumped nine positions, now tied for 37th with India’s Kuldeep Yadav, while Shoriful Islam made a significant leap of 14 spots, climbing to 43rd.
Leg-spinner Rishad Hossain has dropped three spots to 20th, and Hasan Mahmud slipped four places to 40th.
Meanwhile, New Zealand's Matt Henry has climbed 13 places to 29th, thanks to his six wickets in just two matches in the Zimbabwe tri-series.
In the batting rankings, Tanzid Hasan rose 18 places to move into the 37th position, and Towhid Hridoy moved up two positions, now jointly ranked 39th with South Africa’s Quinton de Kock.

Meanwhile, Jaker Ali climbed 17 spots to 53rd, and Parvez Hossain made a remarkable jump of 22 places to reach 63rd.
