Desperate guardians on Tuesday continued to search for their children missing after a Bangladesh Air Force jet crashed into a building of Milestone School and College in Uttara, Dhaka on Monday.

At least three guardians of the students of the educational institution told ¶¶Òõ¾«Æ· till Tuesday morning they had yet to find their children.


They alleged they were not getting full cooperation from the authorities concerned.

Till Tuesday morning, 27 people, including 25 students, were killed in the crash.

Most of the victims are the primary-level schoolchildren, as they were in classrooms during the crash.

Till Monday night, 171 other people were injured in the accident, said the Inter-Services Public Relations.

Raisa Moni, Afia Umme Marium and Wakiya Ferdous Nidhi, all Class III students of the school, remain missing till Tuesday morning.

Md Shahabul, father of Raisa Moni, told ¶¶Òõ¾«Æ· that they were not getting any information about his daughter anywhere.

‘No one is helping us,’ he alleged, adding, ‘This morning I went to the school, but the people there are not letting us enter.’

He also said that he could not find Raisa in any hospital.

Samia Parvin, paternal aunt of Okiya Ferdous, said that they were not getting any updates from anywhere.

Okiya’s parents went to the police station now, she said.

Sayem Ahmed Shanto, cousin of Afia Umme, said that till Monday night, Afia was listed as missing on the school list.

A press release, issued by the chief adviser’s press wing on Tuesday morning, read that a control room will be opened by the school authorities at the school.
