Bangladesh Society of Water and Power Engineers has recently held a seminar titled Sustainable Infrastructure and Strategic Planning: The Role of Engineers in Future Leadership at the Mukti Hall of the Power Building in Dhaka.
Bangladesh Power Development Board chairman Engineer Md Rezaul Karim was present as chief guest at the seminar, said a press release on Saturday.
Special guests included Md Aminul Haque, member (administration), joint secretary; Engr Md Shamsul Alam, member (planning and development); Engr Md Zahurul Islam, member (generation); and Engr ANM Obaidullah, member (company affairs and distribution), all representing BPDB.
Presided over by Engr Md Mahbubur Rahman, president of the BPWPE, BPDB Wing, general secretary of the organisation Engr Md Shahedul Azim Sajal delivered the keynote speech at the seminar.
Engineers and senior officials working at the BPDB were present at the event.
