A raging fire on Friday badly damaged a foam manufacturing factory at the Karnaphuli Export Processing Zone in Chattogram.
No one was injured in the incident, according to the police. Mohammad Abdur Razzak, deputy assistant director at the Chattogram Divisional Fire Service, said that the blaze broke out at about 3:00pm to douse which eight firefighting units along with personnel security forces were engaged.
