Universal Medical College Hospital formed a 10-member medical board on Thursday night for ailing Lalon singer Farida Parveen.
Two kidney specialists on behalf of the health secretary also joined a meeting of the medical board on the night, said Farida鈥檚 husband Gazi Abdul Hakim.
Bangladesh Nationalist Party chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, meanwhile, has urged the government to take steps to ensure advanced treatment for Farida, said the party鈥檚 media cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan, UNB reports.
The eminent singer鈥檚 husband instrumentalist Gazi Abdul Hakim told 抖阴精品 that BNP joint secretary general Syed Emran Saleh Prince visited the hospital on Thursday night and inquired about her condition.
Emran Saleh also told him that Khaleda Zia loved Lalon songs and Farida Parveen was her favorite artist.
鈥楢fter dialysis Farida Parveen鈥檚 condition has slightly improved but the medical board has suggested not to shift her to any other hospital and avoid visitors, said her husband.
Farida Parveen has been receiving treatment in the ICU of the hospital since July 5.聽
