BRAC Bank has recently conducted its signature career guidance programme ‘CAREERtalk’ at Islamic University of Technology to help students plan their professional journeys, said a press release.

From BRAC Bank, speakers included human resources head Akhteruddin Mahmood, digital banking head Sk Sunjur Ahmed and systems support and service operations head Mir Mohammad Asiful Bari, among others.


The session covered current trends in banking, digital innovation and skills needed to thrive in a competitive job market.

Akhteruddin Mahmood said, ‘CAREERtalk is about sparking ambition. We want students to think ahead, learn continuously and prepare to lead. Youth engagement is central to progress and we’re committed to supporting it.’

The initiative was well received by students and faculty, reflecting BRAC Bank’s continued commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry through meaningful engagement, the release said.
