
A meeting of the advisory council committee on government affairs on Tuesday approved two proposals from the cultural ministry to purchase services and goods directly for arranging programme on occasion of the first anniversary of the July mass uprising.
One of the proposals was linked to five drone shows and other was linked to diverse programmes, including the publication of graffiti books, display of posters, seminar and screenings of documentaries in 63 districts and the capital city Dhaka.
Finance adviser Salehuddin Ahmed of the interim government, that assumed power on August 8, 2024, three days after ouster of Awami League in the of July uprising, presided over the meeting at secretariat.
