International Standard University has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Global Institute for IT Management in the United States to enhance global cooperation in IT education and management.

The MoU was signed by Mohammad Faizullah Kawshik, registrar of the ISU, and Professor Jerry Luftman, GllMs founder and managing director, at the ISU Mohakhali campus on Thursday evening, said a press release on Friday.


The event was graced by Professor Mohammad Abul Kashem, dean of the faculty of engineering and technology, along with Professor Md Hakikur Rahman, chairperson of the computer science and engineering department.

Through this MoU, ISU students will have the opportunity to enroll in GIIM鈥檚 master鈥檚 programmes with special tuition waivers and will be able to take courses from GIIM and US universities to complete their masters in IS or MBA.

The agreement also opens doors for joint initiatives in research, training, academic exchange, international conferences and collaborative projects in IT management and education.

Professor Jerry Luftman, representing GIIM, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership and highlighted the importance of global academic networking in the evolving landscape of technology and education.

This strategic collaboration reflects ISU鈥檚 commitment to preparing students for the global job market and equipping them with cutting-edge knowledge in information technology and management.
