Civil engineering department at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology on Thursday held a seminar titled Operational Challenges and User Experience of Dhaka Metro Rail: Lessons for Emerging Urban Transport System at the CUET in Chattogram.
CUET vice-chancellor Professor Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan was present as chief guest at the seminar, said a press release on Friday.聽
The special guests of the seminar were former CUET VC and professor of the civil engineering department Md Jahangir Alam and acting dean of the faculty of civil and environmental engineering Professor Asiful Haque.
Engineer Faruk Ahmed, managing director of Dhaka Metro Rail, was present as resource person at the seminar, which was presided over by Professor Ayesha Akhtar, head of the department of civil engineering.
The seminar was moderated by assistant professor of the department of civil engineering Mukta Banu.
