BRAC Bank, in collaboration with United Hospital, has recently organised a daylong health camp and awareness session on fatty liver prevention and treatment, said a press release.
The health camp featured two key awareness sessions led by United Hospital chief clinical dietician Chowdhury Tasnim Hasin and junior consultant in gastroenterology Iftikhar Imam.
In addition to the sessions, the health camp offered free consultations and basic medical tests, including general medical check-ups, specialised check-ups for pregnant women and new mothers and personalised nutrition plans.
BRAC Bank employees also benefited from essential health screenings, such as blood sugar, blood pressure, height and weight measurements, and BMI assessments.
