Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture renewed the fertiliser import agreement with the OCP Nutri Groups in Casablanca, Morocco on Wednesday.

BADC chairman Md Ruhul Amin Khan signed the agreement on behalf of BADC while representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and other representatives of the two countries were present at the ceremony, said a press release on Thursday.


The BADC under the supervision of the agriculture ministry is carrying out the activities of importing non-urea fertiliser from various countries under the state agreement.

In continuation of this, the BADC is going to import 6.30 lakh tonnes of TSP and 4.80 lakh tonnes of DAP fertiliser from Morocco in the financial year 2025-26, added the press release.
