Popular Life Insurance Company Limited on Thursday won the first prize for its initiatives against drug abuse, said a press release.
Popular Life managing director and chief executive officer BM Yusuf received the prize from home affairs adviser Lieutenant general Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (retired) at an event held on the occasion of International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2025 in the capital.
Special assistant to the chief adviser for home affairs Khoda Baksh Chowdhury and home affairs senior secretary Nasimul Goni were present as special guests.
Narcotics Control Department director general Md Hasan Maruf presided over the event.
