Publishing house Oitijjhya has published Dhaka University professor emeritus Serajul Islam Choudhury鈥檚 selected stories and novels under the header, Kathasahityasamagra, to mark his 90th birthday.
A press release of the publishing house on Sunday said that very few readers knew that the literary beginning of one of the prominent public intellectuals in the country Serajul Islam Choudhury was through stories and several editions of his collection of stories, Bhalomanusher Jagat, were also published.
Oitijjhya has also published his debut novel, Shesh Nei.
Serajul Islam Choudhury鈥檚 literary works are unique in their linguistic beauty, as well as thought-provoking in terms of content. His stories and novels contain the internal conflicts of time, society, history and people, the breakdown and revival.
