Bangladesh General Insurance Company PLC on Sunday held its 40th annual general meeting on digital platform, said a press release.
Chairman Towhid Samad presided over the meeting.
Among others, managing director and chief executive officer Ahmed Saifuddin Chowdhury was present in the meeting.
The company approved 10 per cent cash dividend on enhanced paid up capital of approximately Tk 54.03 crore for the year 2024.
The meeting was also attended by public director Md Shakil Rizvi, nominated director Mohammad Manjur Mahmud, independent director Nasir Uddin Chowdhury and deputy managing director and company secretary Saifuddin Ahmed.
A large number of BGIC shareholders attended the meeting.
At the beginning of the annual general meeting, a special Dua was offered for the eternal peace of departed souls of BGIC鈥檚 founder late MA Samad and other member who departed earlier with the presented shareholders.
