Six successful entrepreneurs in agriculture, fisheries and livestock sectors have been honoured under Agriculture Unit run with support of Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation.
Deputy director of Department of Agricultural Extension Abul Kalam Azad handed over the honorary award as chief guest at a function at Hapnia branch of Sadar upazila on Sunday. The programme was organised by Non-government development organisation named Moushumi.聽
Upazila livestock officer Aminul Islam, senior fisheries officers of Sadar upazila Baizid Alam and Nuruzzaman Roni, deputy assistant director of Moushumi Liaqat Ali and other officers and employees of the Agriculture Unit were present.
The organisers and participants hoped that the award ceremony for successful agricultural entrepreneurs would increase enthusiasm among the entrepreneurs and play a unique role in the development of sustainable agriculture, fisheries and livestock.
