US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Sunday that the United States would allow Iran to operate nuclear power plants but not enrich its own fuel.
鈥楾he Iranian regime should wake up and say 鈥淥K, if we really want nuclear energy in our country, there鈥檚 a way to do it.鈥� That offer鈥檚 still there, we鈥檙e prepared to talk to them tomorrow,鈥� he told Fox News after America bombed nuclear facilities in Iran.
鈥楿ltimately, they have to make a decision. It鈥檚 a very simple decision: if what they want is nuclear reactors so they can have electricity -- there are so many other countries in the world that do that, and they don鈥檛 have to enrich their own uranium -- they can do that,鈥� Rubio added.
