Bangladesh Meteorological Department has predicted rains in seven divisions of the country including in Dhaka in 24 hours commencing 9:00am on Monday.
鈥楲ight to moderate rain or thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely at most places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at many places over Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country,鈥� said a Met office bulletin.
Day and night temperatures may fall slightly over the country, it said.
Trough of low lies over West Bengal to Northwest Bay across southwestern part of Bangladesh.
Monsoon is active over Southern part of the country and fairly active elsewhere over the country and moderate over North Bay.
