
Team Group managing director and former senior vice-president of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association Abudllah Hil Rakib was buried at Bangladesh Air Force Academy Shaheen Graveyard in Dhaka on Saturday.
He was buried following his namaz-e-janaza at Banani DOHS in the capital.
Earlier, a namaz-e-janaza of Rakib was held at the BGMEA Complex of Uttara on Saturday morning.
He, along with Biman Bangladesh Airlines captain Md Saifuzzaman, died at the age of 54 in an accident in Canada after their canoe capsized in the Kawartha Lakes area of Sturgeon Lake, Ontario, on June 8.
Earlier on June 11, his first namaz-e-janaza was held at the Sunnat Jamaat Mosque in Danforth, Toronto.
The top businessmen and sector leaders of the country鈥檚 readymade garment sector participated in the janaza at the BGMEA complex.聽
BGMEA president Mahmud Hasan Khan Babu, former presidents Faruque Hassan, SM Fazlul Haque and Kazi Maniruzzaman, administrator Anwar Hossain, Sammilita Parishad聽leader Md Abul Kalam and other BGMEA leaders attended the janaza.
Rakib鈥檚 family members, including his widow Afroza Shahin, daughter Lamia Tabassum, son Mahir Daiyan, and brother Abdullah Hil Nakib, were also present at that time.
Meanwhile, the janaza and burial of pilot Md Saifuzzaman were held on Friday.
