Bangladesh Medical University in Dhaka resumed its operations after the Eid-ul-Azha holidays on Saturday.

BMU vice-chancellor Professor Dr Md Shahinul Alam exchanged greetings with the teachers, students, physicians, officers, employees and stakeholders from different levels of the university, said a press release.


Pro-VC for administration Professor Dr Md Abul Kalam Azad, pro-VC for research and development Professor Dr Md Mujibur Rahman Hawlader, treasurer Professor Dr Nahrin Akhtar, registrar Professor Dr Md Nazrul Islam, proctor associate Professor Dr Sheikh Farhad, director for hospital Brigadier General Abu Noman Mohammad Mosleh Uddin, director for planning and development associate professor Dr Erfanul Haque Siddiqui and director for finance and accounts Khandaker Shafiqul Hasan, among others, were present while exchanging Eid greetings at the Shaheed Dr Milon Hall of the university.

The press release also mentioned that the outpatient department of the BMU provided medical care to 2,440 patients on June 5, 8 and 11 during the Eid holidays.
