Unidentified people clad in Rapid Action Battalion uniform looted Tk 1 crore by halting four employees of the Nagad distributor who were riding two motorbikes at Sector-12 in the capital鈥檚 Uttara area on Saturday morning.
The incident took place at about 9:00am on the day at Sector-12 when four to five people wearing RAB uniforms get off from a microbus and looted Tk 1 crore, according to police.
Uttara West police officer-in-charge Md Hafizur Rahman said that they had collected CCTV footage of the incident and found four to five men in RAB uniforms with a microbus looting the amount.
鈥楾he employees of the Nagad distributor with two motorbikes were on their way to a shop carrying the amount,鈥� the OC told 抖阴精品.
He said that the process of filing a case in this regard was under way.
The OC also said that they could not detain anyone over the incident and they were investigating the matter.
