The interim government has reduced around Tk 46,308 crore cost from 33 projects under the ministries of road transport and bridges, railways and power, energy and mineral resources.
The information was disclosed by the chief adviser鈥檚 press wing on Wednesday.
As per the disclosure, the highest amount, Tk聽12,425.5177 crore, of cost has been reduced from nine projects under the energy and mineral resources division.
The second highest amount, Tk聽10,854.32 crore, has been reduced from 10 projects under the road transport and highways division.
From five projects under the railways ministry, Tk聽8,036.9 crore has been reduced.
Tk 7,537 crore has been reduced from four projects under the bridges division.
Finally, Tk聽7,454.31 crore has been reduced from five projects under the power division.
