One more dengue patient died and 101 were admitted to different hospitals across the country in the last 24 hours.
During the period, 42 patients were hospitalised in Barishal division, 15 in Chattogram, six in Dhaka division, 10 in Dhaka North City Corporation, 24 in Dhaka South City Corporation, one in Mymensingh, one in Rangpur and two were admitted to different hospitals in Khulna, said a press release, issued by the Directorate General of Health Services.
Meanwhile, one death was reported from dengue and 76 patients were released from hospitals after receiving treatment.
The number of cases rose to 3,637 while 23 deaths from dengue disease were reported this year.
Last year, the total number of cases rose to 1,01,214 while 575 deaths from dengue disease were reported.
