Mustafizur Rahman will miss the second T20I against the UAE on May 19, as the Bangladesh Cricket Board granted the pacer an NOC (No Objection Certificate) on Friday to participate in the Indian Premier League. 聽

The left-arm pacer was granted the NOC by the Cricket Operations for the period from May 18 to 24, said the BCB in a press release. As a result, Mustafiz will be available for the first T20 only, which is scheduled today at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.聽


Delhi Capitals announced Mustafiz as a replacement for Jake Fraser-McGurk for the remainder of the season before the BCB said that they were unaware of the situation.聽

Mustafiz travelled with the national team to Dubai on the same day Delhi announced his signing.聽

It was then reported that he would be released to play in the IPL only after the series against the UAE.聽

But now, as Mustafiz has received the NOC for a larger window, he will be available for Delhi in their last three matches of the league stage.聽

Their next match is against the Gujarat Titans on May 18. Thereafter, they will take on the Mumbai Indians on May 21 in Mumbai and the Punjab Kings on May 24 in Jaipur. They are currently in fifth place in the points table.聽

The IPL鈥攚hich was suspended due to the conflict between India and Pakistan鈥攊s set to resume today.聽

The Bangladesh national team are scheduled to tour Pakistan later this month for a five-match T20 series, which is set to be rescheduled as the PSL has been pushed back for a week.聽

The revised itinerary of the series between Bangladesh and Pakistan is yet to be finalised, but it鈥檚 been reported that it will start on May 27.
