Apparel manufacturing and technology department of BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology organised a day-long job fair, offering promising career opportunities for its students, at the Multipurpose Hall of the university in Dhaka on Tuesday.聽
The event saw active participation from the Renai Group, which conducted written exams and viva sessions to recruit BUFT鈥檚 graduates, said a press release.
The programme began with a brief inaugural seminar. Professor Ayub Nabi Khan, acting vice-chancellor of BUFT, attended as chief guest while Ramize Khalid Islam, managing director of Renai Group, was present as special guest and Md Ashiqul Islam, general manager for operations of Renai Group, delivered the keynote speech at the event.
BUFT treasurer Professor Md Alamgir Hossain, dean of the faculty of apparel studies Professor Mohammed Robaiyat Chowdhury, along with faculty members, officials, and students, were present at the event.
