Bangladesh national cricket team will tour the UAE before聽going聽to Pakistan for a two-match T20I series against the host in聽the mid-May,聽confirmed by the Emirates Cricket Board on Friday.
The two matches are scheduled to be played on May 17 and 19, respectively and the Sharjah Cricket Stadium will host both matches.聽聽
This will be the second bilateral series between the two nations, as Bangladesh toured there for a two-match T20I series in September 2022 before the T20 World Cup.聽
The series will mark the Tigers鈥� return to the T20 format after five months, as they last played against the West Indies in December last year,聽 securing their first-ever clean sweep 3-0 in a bilateral T20I series over Windies.
Bangladesh are scheduled to tour Pakistan for a five-match T20I series which will begin on May 25.聽
There is also a Men鈥檚 T20 Asia Cup coming up, which will be held in September in India.聽
Nizam Uddin Chowdhury, the Chief Executive Officer of BCB, said that the series against UAE would be an important part of the preparation for the forthcoming series and tournaments.聽

Meanwhile, the Chief Operating Officer of the Emirates Cricket Board, Subhan Ahmad, said, 鈥榃e are excited to host the Bangladesh men鈥檚 team for another bilateral T20I series with the UAE men鈥檚 team. The Emirates Cricket Board is always keen on providing opportunities to the UAE鈥檚 national side against quality opponents.鈥櫬�
