A daylong art exhibition, honouring the working class, marking International Workers’ Day titled '15th Rongottor Art Exhibition' is under way at Rabindra Sarobar in Dhanmondi, Dhaka.

The exhibition, curated by Mrittika Kamal, is featuring 90 artworks, including paintings, photographs and digital art depicting the struggles of the working class people and their everyday life, by 64 artists.


Organised by Terracotta Creatives, the exhibition features artists, including Abir Abdullah, Hasan Saifuddin Chandan, K M Asad, Sabina Yesmin, Shafiqul Alam Kiron, Sofia Zaman, Sourav Bhuiyan, Bijoy Krishna Paul, Md Nazmul Hossain, AFM Moniruzzaman Shipu, Morshed Mishu and Ummea Habiba.

‘The fifteenth edition of Rongottor Art Exhibition continues to reflect Terracotta Creatives’s commitment to making art accessible to people from all walks of life. This exhibition will be displayed in different places in Dhaka and Jashore,’ Mrittika Kamal said. 

She added that the organisation regularly organises street exhibitions, art camps and workshops across Bangladesh to foster meaningful interactions between artists and communities from every walk of life.
