Atlas Bangladesh Limited, a company controlled by Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation under the industries ministry, on Wednesday signed a business agreement with Bangladesh Honda Private Limited at BSEC premises in Dhaka, said a press release.
Under the agreement, all government departments and agencies, all Palli Bidyut Samitys under the BREB, Bangladesh Police, Bangladesh Ansar and VDP, Local Government Engineering Department and NGOs run on government funds will be able to take supply of Honda brand motorcycles under Direct Purchase Method as per the Public Procurement Act, 2008.
Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission chairman MA Kamal Billah (additional secretary), ABL managing director Md Ajibor Rahman, BHL MD and CEO Susumu Morisawa and chief marketing officer Shah Muhammad Ashequr Rahman were present.
