Unilever Bangladesh Limited has announced to continue its commitment to collect and process 10 per cent of Chattogram鈥檚 mismanaged plastic waste in 2025, said a press release.
To mark this milestone, Unilever Bangladesh, in collaboration with Chattogram City Corporation and Young Power in Social Action, recently organised an event at Radisson Blu Hotel in Chattogram.
The event also honoured three waste pickers and two bhangariwala or CSO representatives.
Among others, Chattogram City Corporation mayor Shahadat Hossain and UBL supply chain director Ruhul Quddus were present.
