Art organisation Ronger Gari handed over crests and certificates among the winners of a four day art workshop titled Jalrang Karmashala 2025 on Sunday.

The programme was held at the Green Art School in the capital.


Noted artist and professor Jamal Ahmed was present as the chief guest while artist Rashid Amin and Kamal Uddin were present as guests at the programme, which was presided over by Ronger Gari director Ferdous Ara Rasul. Artist Mintu Dey delivered a welcome speech about the journey of Ronger Gari and Arifur Rahaman Topu anchored the event.

Earlier, a four-day workshop was held at 3DArt Gallery of Military Museum, the Jahangirnagar University campus and Asiatic Society Bangladesh at Nimtali from April 20 and 23.

Twenty seven young artists from across the country were participating in the workshop which was conducted by Mintu Dey.

The first, second and third positions were secured by Bishal Kumar Das, Akram Hossain and Kaif Amin. They will participate in an international art camp scheduled to be held in Nepal this year.

Activism of Ranger Gari is an art movement聽and through this workshop, they promote art in the society,聽said Kamal Uddin.

Jamal Ahmed shared his journey as a professional artist and later his experience as an art teacher of Dhaka University among the participants of the workshop.
